For flagpoles utilizing an 8′ x 12′ flag arrangement or larger it is recommended that a shock spring an safety cable be used.
Our flagpole shock spring and safety cable spring is zinc plated high carbon steel. It has an overall length of 5-1/2″ with the coiled section measuring 4″. The 9″ safety cable is constructed of 1/8″ stainless steel aircraft cable with a stainless steel thimble attached at each end with 2 copper crimps.
