Flagpole Shock Spring and Safety Cable
For flagpoles utilizing an 8' x 12' flag arrangement or larger it is recommended that a shock spring an safety cable be used.
Our flagpole shock spring and safety cable spring is zinc plated high carbon steel. It has an overall length of 5-1/2" with the coiled section measuring 4". The 9" safety cable is constructed of 1/8" stainless steel aircraft cable with a stainless steel thimble attached at each end with 2 copper crimps.

Flagpole Flag Arrangements
Flag arrangements are supplied with either 2 or 3 stainless steel quick links depending on the recommended flag size.
Flag arrangements are constructed of stainless steel aircraft cable with a stainless steel thimble at each end with 2 copper crimps. These flag arrangements provide a method of attaching the flag or flags to the cable assembly. Flag arrangements also provide a convenient way to change flag size or number on the same cable assembly.

Flagpole Cable Assemblies
Flagpole cable assemblies are constructed of 1/8" and 3/16" stainless steel aircraft cable incorporating a stainless steel swivel to minimize unraveling due to rotation of the truck assembly. The lower section has a copper cable stop attached to one end for installation into a stainless steel winch. This cable stop can
easily be removed if not required. The upper cable section is supplied with a stainless steel thimble, 2 copper crimps, and two ball cable stops. However, because this section must be threaded through the truck assembly, these parts are not attached to the cable before shipment and must be attached in the field. Cable assemblies are designed for flagpoles with winch assemblies at 5' above grade.

Stainless Steel Flagpole Winches

Replacement flagpole winches. These winches are available for use on flagpoles with butt diameter of 6" or greater. These gearless winches utilize cast bronze internal brakes which release when a winch handle is inserted and rotational pressure is applied. The winch is locked at any position by removing the handle which engages the brake system.
The small size is generally used on flagpoles up to 45', the large size is used on flagpoles from 50' through 80' . The X-large size is used on flagpoles higher than 80'. The winch is mounted to the inside of the flagpole with two 5/16"-18NC stainless steel bolts with mounting centers being 3-1/2". Recommended diameters of stainless steel cable are 1/8" and 5/32".
Rope Retainer Rings
for flagpoles with butt diameters from 5" to 16-1/2"
The rope retainer rings are constructed of #8 (1/4") rope with wire core, stainless steel thimbles and copper crimps. Our rope retaining rings come complete with a vinyl cover over the thimbles and stainless steel quick link. Retainer rings are generally used with internal halyard flagpoles by providing a means of keeping the bottom of the flag close to the pole and as an aid to raise and lower the flag. Retainer rings can also be used on large multi-grommet flags on both external and internal flagpoles as a means to keep the flags close to the pole and reduce the strain on the upper and lower grommets of the flag.
Beaded Retainer Rings 13″ to 36″
for poles with 13" to 36" diameter, using 1" and 2" nylon balls
Retainer rings are generally used with internal halyard flagpoles by providing a means of keeping the bottom of the flag close to the pole and as an aid to raise and lower the flag. Retainer rings can also be used on large multi-grommet flags on both external and internal flagpoles as a means to keep the flags close to the pole and reduce the strain on the upper and lower grommets of the flag. Flagpole Counterweights
3.5 to 14 lb
Fabricated from 2" diameter steel our flagpole counterweights are then coated with Plastisol. The 3-1/2" long 3.5 lb weights are supplied with one eyebolt attached to one end. The 7", 7 lb and 14", 14 lb weights are supplied with an eyebolt attached to each end.
Internal Halyard IH-2 Series Flagpole Truck
Internal Halyard - Cap Style - Revolving - Wire Halyard
Fits Flagpole top diameters: 3" to 7 1/2"
All of these cast aluminum trucks have a 1 1/4" NPT threaded spindle which screws into the top of the flagpole where a female fitting has been installed. The top of all trucks are designed to accept an ornament with a spindle threading of 1/2"-13NC as standard but can be supplied in other sizes of threading. The ornament is secured to the truck with a size 1/4"-20NC stainless steel set screw. The extra large model has a stainless steel sealed lubricant bearing assembly while all other sizes utilize stainless steel ball bearings in both the upper and lower bearing races. All Sizes are supplied with a stainless steel bushing at the cable exit point except the IHT-3 which has a bronze fitting.

Internal Halyard IHT-VS Series Flagpole Truck
Internal Halyard - Threaded Style - Stationary
Fits Flagpole top diameters: up to 3 1/2"
Cast aluminum construction for use on rope style internal halyard flagpoles. A small pulley assembly is affixed to the inside of the truck housing to allow the halyard to feed from inside the flagpole. The pulley assembly has a 1-7/16" outside diameter cast nylon pulley on a 1/4" stainless steel axle. This truck is designed to be used on flagpoles that have up to 3-1/2" outside top diameter with female fitting installed. The bottom spindle has a 1-1/4" NPT threading and is screwed into the top of the flagpole. The top of the truck will accept an ornament with 1/2"-13NC threading as standard but can be supplied with other sizes of threading. The ornament is secured to the truck with a 1/4"-20NC stainless steel set screw. Recommended max rope diameter is 5/16".

Internal Halyard IH-1 Series Flagpole Truck
Internal Halyard - Cap Style - Stationary
Fits Flagpole top diameters: 3" to 3 1/2"
Cast aluminum construction for use on rope style internal halyard flagpoles. A small pulley assembly is added to the inside of a standard outrigger style truck to allow the halyard to feed from inside the flagpole. The pulley assembly has a 1 7/16" outside diameter cast nylon pulley on a 1/4" stainless steel axle and is held in place inside the truck by 5/16"-18NC stainless steel set screw. The truck has a 2" outside diameter cast nylon pulley on a 1/4" stainless steel axle and is designed to slip over the top of the flagpole and be secured with three 5/16"-18NC stainless steel set screws. The top of the truck will accept an ornament with 1/2"-13NC threading as standard. Recommended max rope diameter is 5/16".
